Empowering Communities, Protecting Nature, Building Resilient Futures

Africa stands on the frontlines of climate change, facing rising temperatures, extreme weather, and threats to food security and livelihoods. At ATEHA, our Green Africa: Climate Action & Sustainable Livelihoods Project is designed to turn these challenges into opportunities — empowering communities to protect their environment while creating sustainable, green jobs.

This project brings together climate action and economic empowerment by promoting tree planting, renewable energy solutions, sustainable farming, and modern waste management practices. Through education and hands-on initiatives, we are building healthier ecosystems and stronger, more resilient communities.

Our Approach

  • Tree Planting & Reforestation:
Mobilizing communities to restore degraded lands, improve biodiversity, and capture carbon through large-scale tree planting efforts.

  • Renewable Energy Adoption:
Supporting the transition to solar, biogas, and other clean energy technologies that reduce pollution and provide affordable power.

  • Sustainable Agriculture:
Training farmers in climate-smart techniques, organic farming, and water-efficient practices that boost yields and protect the soil.

  • Waste Management Innovations:
Promoting recycling, composting, and waste-to-energy solutions that reduce pollution and create green business opportunities.

Our Impact

  • Thousands of trees planted to restore forests and fight climate change.

  • Communities powered by clean, renewable energy solutions.

  • Farmers adopting sustainable practices that improve food security and incomes.

  • Waste transformed into valuable resources, creating jobs and reducing pollution.

Why This Matters

Climate change threatens Africa’s future — but through collective action, we can protect our environment, ensure food security, and create green livelihoods. Our Green Africa project delivers real solutions that balance environmental protection with economic growth.
